Firstly, THANK YOU!!! to each & everyone of you who have followed my journey here since creation 7 years ago!! Sadly, I’ve decided to deactivate this page shortly & am no longer going to post here ♉️

Facebook unfortunately has confirmed my page cannot be converted to a private forum 😩

I am excited to announce my New page is a private group, where I can continue to share my stories, passions & creations in a safe space for us to continue to enjoy ☮️

I create a photo album for all the shots I take throughout the months & when I’m adding here, it’s a struggle to decide what I share!

I’m also mindful this page is public & I maybe share a little more than I should! I’m considering closing down this page & moving to a private page for my followers & friends here. When I first created this page it was for a different reason, & as I’ve changed, the page too has changed and if I could make this page private, it’s now my preference!

I’m thinking once it’s created, you be requested to join the page & I’ll accept your request! I know there are a lot here that watch & don’t comment or like & essentially it’s not about closing down your access at all it’s more about who get the access to what I share 🤪

Happy International Dog Day!

This handsome boy turns 11 this year & geez he brings us so much joy!

He’s a professional camp chair steeler, he’s very loyal & outrageously obedient & we just love him to bits. He’s had a couple of health issues this year, “like we all do with age” even given us a scare! he’s getting on in doggy years, but, is still doing well & we’ve managed his condition & he’s back to his beautiful natured self

Celery from the garden~YUM!& when juiced, my favourite. Love it when you’re sitting down to dinner and most of everything we create comes from our garden! With the cost of living affecting a lot of us, we certainly enjoy our time spent to produce our own. Although we are not fully self sufficient & will never be, we will enjoy what we can.

What a day….
Sunday is suppose to be rest day? No way, we’ve had a pack jammed weekend, out yesterday getting s**t done ✔️
We’re early rises, so up early to do s**t!!! Outside to the gardens, we’ve cleaned, we weeded, we’ve feed gardens, I’ve cleaned Bluey & Wynta!

THEN-the open road called us…

Jumped on Wynta & we were off, Freedom 😂 & today, it felt like I earned it! There was no need for leathers today we have moved back into the summer riding gear 🕶️

Over the past month Husband has been doing some maintenance on the Bee hotel’s. We’ve had our hives for about 5 years now & they were due some nurturing 😂 He’d also made the decision to flow the hives this weekend having transferred the colony from one hive to another in readiness for a harvest 🙌

This afternoon we popped out & completed a small harvest and I’ve name our produce..

Our neighbours were gifted a jar & we’re so grateful! I mentioned, I have thanked our beautiful bee’s..

As we surrender to the last week of Winter, and the lingering of the cold-which offers a few more slower days before spring emerges….
I’ll miss home hibernation, and the burning of our wood fire giving our country home the winter cozy comforts.

At Home on the Hill this morning, we had a foggy grand start to the day. Sometimes we think winter will never end, longing for the warmer days when we almost feel like we’ve forgotten them. Enjoy the cooler days, as temperatures are about the reach those high 20’s & a week from today the temperature reaches 30☀️

I want to know if you can get up after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone and do what needs to be done to feed the children.

It doesn’t interest me who you know or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand in the centre of the fire with me and not shrink back.

It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you from the inside when all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.
