Most mornings I throw a handful of blueberries into my breakfast; yoghurt, oats, whatever’s there. Nothing fancy.

But if I skip them for a few days? I feel it. My gut’s a bit sluggish, my energy dips, and I just don’t feel as balanced.

It’s wild how something so small can make such a difference.
Blueberries feed your good gut bugs, calm inflammation, and even help steady your hormones.

So yep, there’s always a mega family-sized bag in my freezer.
One simple habit that actually helps me feel like me. 💙

Some days it’s obvious... that heavy, bloated feeling after lunch, the 3 pm brain fog, or the skin breakout that appears for no reason at all.

It took me a while to realise my gut wasn’t misbehaving… it was messaging me.

When your gut’s out of balance, it doesn’t just affect your digestion. It can mess with your energy, mood, skin and even your hormones.

Now, when those little signs pop up, I stop and ask: What’s my gut trying to say?

Because your gut’s not being dramatic, it’s communicating. 💚

So what do I do about it?

I’ve stopped trying to hold everything in my head.
I write things down, ask for help, and say no when I need to.

Some days it still feels heavy... but it’s lighter than it used to be.

Easing the mental load isn’t about doing more.
It’s learning to let your brain rest, too.

Lately I’ve noticed my brain feels full before the day even starts.

It’s not the doing that gets me... it’s the constant thinking, planning, remembering.
That quiet background hum that never switches off.

Midlife just seems to turn up the volume on it all.
So I’ve been finding small ways to ease the load and it really does make a difference.
