❤️A Yin Yoga Love Story
Each week, a mother & her Yr 12 daughter arrive together for evening Yin.
The mother settles almost instantly—eyes closed, body softening, as if she’s been waiting all day for this pause.
Her daughter is just as willing, but her stillness takes time. Her eyes flicker open, her body shifts & fidgets, gently adjusting to the unfamiliar space of slowing down.
Two bodies. Two experiences.
One shaped by years held tightly within.
One just beginning to carry the patterns of modern life—screens, study, long hours of sitting.
The mother hovers on the edge of sleep.
The daughter on the edge of distraction.
Different rhythms. Different needs.
And yet, when they leave, something unspoken is shared—
a lightness, a clarity, a quiet return to themselves.
In their own way, each found exactly what they needed.
