This weekend our team attended conference, where researchers and clinicians shared the latest evidence on resistance training for women.
Topics included pelvic floor dysfunction and prolapse, rehabilitation and return to activities such as resistance exercise following hysterectomy, exercise during pregnancy, and training considerations across the menstrual cycle, perimenopause and menopause.
One of the most valuable aspects of the conference was hearing directly from researchers and clinicians about what the evidence actually shows -
helping to cut through the many myths currently circulating online.
