Let’s talk about seasonal fruit and veges…
Right now, we’re deep into autumn, and this is one of the most nourishing times to really slow down and eat with the seasons.
In autumn, nature gives us foods that are more grounding, warming, and supportive for our immune system as the weather starts to cool.
For fruits, think apples, pears, figs, and grapes…
Late-season stone fruits like peaches and plums…
And citrus beginning to come through—like oranges, mandarins, and lemons.
And when it comes to vegetables, this is where things get really beautiful…
We start to see more root vegetables like sweet potato, pumpkin, carrots, and beetroot—perfect for warming, nourishing meals.
Plus veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, eggplant, and leafy greens… all rich in fibre, minerals, and antioxidants to support gut health and detox pathways.
Eating seasonally means your food is fresher, more nutrient-dense, and really aligned with what your body needs during this time.
So next time you’re shopping, tune into what’s in season—your body will thank you 🤍
