A warm welcome to our Bright Therapy Families! 👋🏼

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a great start to the New Year. 🌟

We have some exciting updates from our team:

👉🏼 Tara is returning from maternity leave and will be back in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
👉🏼 Steph is increasing her hours and will now be working on Mondays and Thursdays.
👉🏼 This means we have more availability for OT appointments on various days and times, including after-school appointments.

Please welcome Steph to the Bright Therapy team!😁🌞

Why Paediatrics?
Steph has always been interested in working with children, as she has a passionate belief that the positive impacts of early intervention can change a child’s life. Steph enjoys getting to know each child’s unique skills and interests, and incorporating these into therapy wherever possible.

Clinical Experience
Steph has worked for the Education Department for nine years, providing services to children from 3-18 years, with a range of with disabilities, including Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Intellectual Disabilities. She has also completed post graduate studies in Inclusive Education, obtaining a Graduate Certificate from QUT in 2022.

Last week we met with Kelly Pickett who is a Paediatric Dietitian. She is working a few days across the road from us in the Brightwater Paediatric Hub! Firstly we would like to welcome back all our families to 2024! 🌞

We hope the first week back at school has gone well. As many of you will know, we have been planning on relocating our office to Brightwater.

We are excited to announce that the big move is finally happening! From Monday 5th February 2024 all office-based appointments will now be at our new address -

At Bright Therapy we accept referrals from parents and carers (can self-refer), GPs, paediatricians, allied health professionals, schools, hospitals, community health centres and external agencies.

The Bright Therapy OT Clinic is conveniently located at Suite 3/47 Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba QLD. The clinic space provides disability friendly parking and is wheelchair accessible. Clinic appointments are available Monday to Friday.
