From being a young child have seen, heard and felt people in the spirit world. Quite frightening as a child considering growing up way back then ( 60's) most said it's your imagination everything is ok, which was a common explanation then. Well, spirit really got my attention on and off throughout my teens and early twenties and went along to a Spiritualist Healing centre with my parents at that time, thought it was very interesting and fascinating and left it at that as one can understand being so young and starting out in life doing all the usual things people do socialising, partying having fun, working, getting Engaged, Married, travelling and starting our own family. Yes, and like for most of us,life has quite a few ups/ downs, twists/ turns along the way, which I will not go into the whole lot as you would be reading a huge book. As they say, life happens and I tended to ignore people in the spirit world as I had way too much going on in my life here on earth without dealing with the people in spirit as well. Well let me assure you, after going through quite a few major life challenges,very very dark deep depression & didn't want to be here and even though Drs put me on prescription medication, which for me personally had the adverse affect ! I just sank further & further deeper & deeper into walking a fine line between being here and wanting to depart this planet earth & to this day I am so so thankful for all the experiences I have had in this life and that I listened to my inner guidance/intuition & my dearly departed Nanna at the time. Which I am so grateful and feel sooo blessed I got through it all with a lot of inspiration, being honest with myself and looking deeply within and a sheer determination I want to live and heal as best as possible. Along with my heart filled with so much gratitude to my hubby and some very beautiful souled friends I call soul sisters and they know who they are as well as other beautiful souled friends who all loved me for me and positively encouraged me to be who I am unconditionally and for that in itself I am truly thankful, you all have no idea how much that meant to me way way back then and still to this day and words sometimes simply cant express how one feels deep within..please accept my thanks with the love and friendship I share with you all Mwaah ♥ ♥ ♥
Therefore, decided to take myself off the western prescription medication, though I MUST STRONGLY point out before I did this, I did a lot of necessary in depth research into alternative, naturopathic, holistic herbal medicine to seek out what I needed to help me work through this illness, much to my husbands fear at the time that I was not thinking rationally, it may not be for everyone, yet for me, it was a huge turning point and a confirmation of the spirit world of love and light beings and guidance I had received. Also my Nana appeared to me, yep as plain as day as if she was literally standing there in front of me in real life, though she was in the spirit world and spoke to me encouraging me to go back to the Spiritualist Healing centre, ( well my hubby thought for sure I had totally lost the plot Lol !! ) and to be honest at first I thought what a load of BS, yet out of curiosity I decided to go to the next meeting they had and low and behold I was totally gobsmacked because the medium doing the readings or as we say platform work said she needed to come to me as there is a lady in spirit here jumping up n down and she is very insistent on me passing onto you a message, with that she described my Nana and as she was finishing said by the way her name is .... well I was totally amazed I had tears of joy and relief at the same time overflowing down my face , how my Nana, was the same one who had appeared to me at home and she came through at that meeting and from that time on decided to go every now and then. That whole experience and confirmation was a BIG flashing neon sign for me to walk my talk and get back onto my spiritual path the path my soul had come back to walk on in this lifetime wherever or however it was meant to unfold, and this time around be not concerned of what others may think just do it !!! And never ever give up on what I have come here to do. Therefore leading me to a whole lot more further enquiries, lots of study, learning & practical work starting with a Certificate in Metaphysical Science, soul growth, being consistent with meditation practices & dedicated in attending and practicing twice a week in a small closed spiritual development group, which then led me to learning more & fine tuning my Spiritual/Psychic abilities of healing and unfoldment ( with Carmel a spiritual Medium/Healer, Herbalist ).
