I’ve always been mesmerised by fire dancers.
I felt this inner nudge for a while — until last year I decided to just do it and learn how to fire dance.

Practising a choreography without fire felt easy.
But at my fire initiation, it was a different story — my hands shook, my body felt alive,
and the choreography slipped away - a mix of nervousness and excitement.

That edge demanded full presence and deep respect,
and in that, I realised what it truly means to dance with fire.

It’s more than dancing with the flames.
It’s a practice of embodiment.
Of deep respect for the element.
Of strengthening my own inner fire.

I’m very grateful to for her guidance and wisdom drops over the past few weeks. Couldn't have asked for a better way to start this journey.

📍Boulder Heads, Indoor Climbing Gym

We’re opening the doors for an afternoon of movement, stillness and intuitive touch to restore your flow. Four Zenthai Shiatsu therapists will be offering individual 1:1 sessions in a shared space, meeting you exactly where you are and tailoring the session to your specific needs.

This is a great chance to experience Zenthai Shiatsu - movement-based bodywork that weaves together Zen Shiatsu, traditional Thai Massage, and Osteopathic techniques. We’ll be working with acupressure points, breath and gentle movement to help release tension, improve mobility and support overall balance in the body.

Session Details
2:30pm – 3:30pm
4:00pm – 5:00pm
5:30pm – 6:30pm

It weaves together Zen Shiatsu, Traditional Thai Massage, and Osteopathic techniques to support balance in body, mind, and energy.
Through gentle stretching, rhythmic flow, and mindful touch, the body begins to unwind — releasing tension, restoring harmony, and reconnecting you to your natural rhythm.

Unlike static massage styles, Zenthai Shiatsu is movement-based — the body is rocked, stretched, and guided through fluid transitions that invite openness, ease, and connection.

Disconnection isn’t always obvious.
It can look like “doing great” on the outside — while feeling shut down inside.

If you’ve spent years overriding, performing, or surviving...It makes sense that being in your body doesn’t feel easy or even safe. It's not your fault. It's what many of us learned.

But your body never stopped speaking.
And the breath? It’s often the first voice you hear on your way back.

The cold takes your breath — until you take it back. ❄️

The first seconds in cold water are intense. Your breath speeds up, your muscles tighten, and your mind starts telling stories like “I can’t do this” or “It’s way too cold”.

That’s your body going into a stress response — and that’s exactly the point. In a controlled setting, the cold gives you the chance to practice how you deal with stress.

This is where your breath becomes the anchor. When you slow it down and focus on the exhale, something shifts. You move from reaction to presence. Your body begins to settle, even while still under stress.

This practice can:
🌬️ Train your nervous system to stay calm under pressure
💪 Build resilience that carries into everyday challenges
⚡ Support circulation, recovery, and energy
🧠 Teach you to notice and move through the mind chatter

It doesn’t mean forcing yourself to stay in no matter what. Yes, part of the practice is meeting resistance — especially the stories in your head — but it’s just as important to know your limits. Cold immersion isn’t for everyone, and there are contraindications to be aware of.

The sweet spot is here: find your breath, relax into the discomfort, meet your edges — and also know when enough is enough.

Life update 🍂🌱

After 7 years in a full-time corporate role, I’ve taken the leap to create more space for what feels deeply aligned.

This wasn’t a decision I made lightly.
That role supported me in so many ways — it gave me stability, growth, a sense of purpose, and the opportunity to build a life here in Australia. It even made it possible for me to become a citizen — something I’m incredibly grateful for.

And now… the freedom, the nerves, the “what did I do?” moments. It’s a strange mix of emotions: relief, excitement, anxiety.
Moments of “I’ve got this,” followed by
“Wait… do I?!”

I truly enjoyed the work and the people I got to collaborate with. But over time, something started to shift.

Through my own healing journey, I began reconnecting with myself in a new way — exploring breathwork, nervous system awareness, bodywork, and embodiment.
And the more I followed that path, the more I felt called to share it with others.

But trying to be fully present in both worlds became harder. That misalignment started to take a toll — and I couldn’t ignore it anymore.

So, I’ve made the decision to step away from full-time work and follow this pull — even if the path ahead still feels unfamiliar.

I’m learning to adjust to a slower rhythm after years of structure and routine. Some days feel expansive and exciting. Others bring up doubt and discomfort. But I’m here for all of it.
This is part of the process.

"Just listen to your body."
It sounds simple — but it’s not always that easy.

If you’ve spent years pushing through, disconnecting, or overriding your needs… listening might feel foreign, even uncomfortable.

Maybe your body hasn’t felt like a safe place.
Maybe stillness feels threatening.
Maybe the messages feel too subtle to trust — or too loud to sit with.

Listening isn’t about getting it “right".
It’s not about decoding every sensation or sitting with every single wave of discomfort.

It’s a practice of discernment. Of noticing what’s present, honouring what needs space, and slowly rebuilding trust.

We often seek grounding…
But how often do we actually care for the part of us that does all that grounding?

Our feet are one of the most overworked and underappreciated parts of the body.
They carry our weight, absorb the impact of every step, and influence everything from posture to balance — yet we rarely give them the care they deserve.

The feet are more than just the base of our body.
They’re our roots.
Our connection to the Earth.
The part of us that listens to the ground —
and invites the rest of the body into presence.

When the feet are tense or misaligned, the effects ripple through the knees, hips, spine —even the nervous system. Foot health is about whole-body wellbeing.

Simple practices like walking barefoot, gentle foot massage, or releasing the soles with a ball can help restore connection. Even just pausing to breathe and feel your feet on the earth can be a powerful act of self-care.

In Zenthai Shiatsu, we often start and end with the feet —because presence at the foundation invites the whole system to soften.
To drop out of the mind… and into the body.
