This post has little direct relationship to Movement and Back Pain but fundamentally it's vitally important to understanding our role as Functional Movement Therapist's. Remember Movement Proficiency along with Quality Nutrition are two critical Pillars of Health.

It's ironic that when educating about managing metabolic syndrome, Prediabetes, Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity patients commonly say "I couldn't possibly go low carb" (or keto or carnivore), but they have zero hesitation to pop countless kinds of chemicals, tablets and injections into their body if provided with a doctors prescription. 🙄

When you go to your doctor do you get a prescription or education? 🤔. Our job is NOT to write prescriptions or perform surgery. Our job is to educate people how to NOT need prescriptions and how to NOT need surgery. Find a doctor who follows this paradigm.
