Neck pain from:
Prolonged sitting at work
Poor posture like head forward
Wry neck
In front of screen long period of time
Stiff neck
Disc bulging
Cervical bursitis
…
Referral pain to shoulder or headache (not migraines)
With the acute pain ( happed recently) and chronic pain ( more than 3 months) we can treat differently.
Before treatment we will do clinical assessment carefully to identify what muscles or group of muscles need to be treated. With the range of movement and knowledge of body anatomy thus the treatment will be more accurate, more efficient to meet the client/patient aims.
Treatment methods:
Deep tissue massage
Soft tissue massage
Trigger point target
Mobilise spine
Muscles energy techniques
Dry Needling
Tapping
Cupping
After treatment we retest to confirm any improvement and record in the client/patient care plan for further care and for the file management required by insurance company and business policy.
We also give Home Exercise Plan (HEP) for client/patient to continue when their own as some chronic pain cannot be free of pain in just one session of treatment. For the acute pain from sport injury or other muscle strain, tendon sprain we can apply the EPAR (exercise prescription and rehabilitation) for client/patient.
The HEP bases on the muscles that we detected from previous ROM (range of movement) assessment .
With many years experience in the age care industry we have understand pathology which forms the clinical impression more accurate therefore the treatment more efficiently for client/patient.
Have a good weekend! Hope you all well but if you have got pain, see you at our clinic then.
