Neck and shoulder causing you pain when sitting at your desk?

Long periods looking at a screen can lock your muscles into one fixed position, try and break it up with some very simple movements. Look over your left shoulder for a count of 5, then over your right. Do that 3 times. And then do a slow nod, looking up for 5 and down for 5. Do this 3 times and then you can get back to work. Consciously moving your muscles can make a big difference to your pain.

Low back pain? Do you drive long distances? Or sit at a desk for long periods of time?

A lovely gentle rocking mobilization is a great way to relieve the pain. Lie on your back. Tuck your whole body into a ball and gently rock in small circles, stay within pain free movement. Try doing this regularly to break up long periods of sitting. Another nice time to do it is when you wake in the morning, or just before bed at night or both!
