Perinatal Mental Health Week is a time to raise awareness and collaborate to ensure that parents in need know that they are not alone. 1 in 5 new mums and 1 in 10 new dads experience perinatal depression and anxiety, which is around 100,000 Australian parents each year.

Program: 1 Initial Private consultation; 6 weeks Group Program
Time: Weekly - Wednesday Mornings 10:15-11:15am, 20th October - 24th November
Where: 'The Loft' - Physio Inq Sutherland
Cost: $294 for 6 week Physio-led program (Private Health Rebate available), plus the initial private consultation.

Feeling like you need to empty your bladder more often in lockdown? You're not alone, and this might be why! 🚽

Working from home may mean we are free to go to the bathroom as soon as we first need to, and with most people working just a few metres from their bathroom, there is no need to delay!

But this "habit" of going to the bathroom as soon as you first feel the need to go can actually train our brain to want to go more often. This can lead to more frequent trips to the toilet and "urgency", feeling busting to go even when the bladder isn't full!

Toilet tips when working from home:
1. Keep up your fluid intake - being dehydrated can irritate the bladder and increase your urge to go!
2. Avoid answering the first call to go - even if the toilet is right next door, try to wait and distract yourself until the urge gets stronger
3. Try to avoid going "just in case" before leaving the house

Day Three of ! Today’s topic is “Private Lives”, talking all the s*x across your life.
S*xual pain and problems is something that many women experience, but may not know who to talk to about it. Unfortunately some women feel dismissed by their health providers about their s*xual pain.
That’s why a huge part of our Women’s Health Consult is listening, talking and educating - so that we really hear what is going on and start to make sense of your symptoms.
S*x should never be painful, and if it is there is a lot we can do to help you get back to feeling your best 💜
