The theme for this year's Dementia Action Week is "nobody can do it alone" which encourages connections and support within communities. It's an opportunity to create awareness and provide support for people with dementia, their families and carers.

Thank you to the Swan Hill Ulysses Club who donated $1,100 to the MRI campaign last month. They held their AGM this week, providing the perfect opportunity to get a photo with as many members as possible.

Funds were raised from a Bunnings BBQ run by the club so thank you once again for your dedication to the cause!

Sepsis is a life-threatening inflammatory response to an infection that can damage the body's tissues and organs. It is a time-critical serious illness that is very difficult to recognise, diagnose and treat. Up to 50% of sepsis survivors have long term and in some cases life-long consequences.

So if you or someone you know is feeling really unwell and are not sure contact a health professional or go to your nearest emergency department and always feel confident to ask: "could it be sepsis?"
