✨ Meet Stevie! ✨

Stevie is an absolute gem - bringing incredible knowledge, experience, and leadership to our Adult Occupational Therapy team. From celebrating huge client wins like securing a myoelectric upper-limb prosthesis with a Taska hand, to being our go-to for the best places to eat, Stevie is the perfect mix of skill, heart and a love of good food.

(And yes… she once genuinely believed quicksand was an inescapable trap and can fall asleep literally anywhere in under 15 minutes. 🤭)

A very exciting delivery arrived at Seed Ability today… and it’s a BIG one! 📦✨

Our Director, Bec, has officially begun her training in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) through the Kids Research Institute Australia.

The ADOS-2 is considered a gold-standard, research-backed tool used worldwide to support autism diagnostic assessments. It uses structured play, conversation and interactive activities to help clinicians gather consistent, reliable observations - an important part of a high-quality diagnostic evaluation.

And the best part?

From 2026, Seed Ability will begin offering Autism Diagnostic Assessments right here in our region, working in collaboration with a Clinical Psychologist.
This means less travel, lower costs, and greater access to best-practice assessment for families in our community.

We’re so excited for what this means for local children, teens, adults and families.
Bringing more support closer to home - that’s our commitment. 💛

Improving motor planning, coordination & body awareness in a jumping series through using visual cues like foot markers and jumping dots. To increase the difficulty, we change the directions of the markers to include turning and unusual foot positioning to challenge these planning systems!

“To improve engagement I get the child to create their own jumping patterns (hence why some look a bit hard here!!) and then we work together to complete the jumping challenge!” - Georgia, our Paeds Physio!
