International Day of Happiness is a simple reminder that movement can support both body and mind.

Exercise and happiness are often more connected than we realise, and even a short session at the gym can have a real impact on how you feel.

It does not need to be long or intense to have value. Sometimes simply showing up and moving your body is enough to shift the day. Three ways exercise can help support happiness:

1. It helps release endorphins
These natural chemicals are linked to mood and can help you feel lighter, calmer or more energised after movement.

2. It helps reduce physical tension
Strength work, cardio or even gentle movement can help release built up tension from sitting, stress or daily demands.

3. It creates mental space
A gym session can offer a break from noise, routine and mental clutter, helping you reset your focus.

Sometimes the hardest part is getting started, but even a short workout can leave you feeling better than when you began.

Regular movement is one of the simplest ways to support a healthy heart, at any age. Exercise can help:

🔹Boost good cholesterol

What a year and we’re only getting started!

2025 was a big moment for us as we introduced Healthivia, a fresh new name that reflects who we are today and the kind of care we want to bring into the community.

We opened new hubs so you can access Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy and Allied Health care closer to where you live and work. More locations, more flexibility and more ways to work on your health in a way that fits real life.

Our service offerings expanded too, with more support for chronic musculoskeletal conditions, capacity building for NDIS participants, injury rehab, Hydrotherapy and programs designed to help people move with more comfort and confidence.

It has been a year of growing, building and refining how we show up for the people we work with and we’re excited for everything ahead.

Let’s keep this going, see you in 2026.
