Sophie Kornmehl is a psychos*xual therapist/s*xologist providing therapy for issues related to s*xuality and relationships.

S*x therapy (focusing on s*x, s*xuality and s*xual intimacy) at Intimate Minds is available to anyone wanting to address these issues, regardless of their relationship style. Relationship therapy without a focus on s*x therapy is available exclusively for clients in non-traditional relationships e.g. non-monogamous relationships, D/S relationships etc.

Sophie’s academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters of Science In Medicine (S*xual and Reproductive Health)- Psychos*xual Therapy.

Improving s*xual function (e.g. erectile issues, difficulty reaching or**sm, painful s*x, vaginismus, premature ej*******on, low libido)

Sophie incorporates elements of Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solutions Focused Brief Therapy in her practice.

Therapy at Intimate Minds is informed by knowledge on issues relating to the q***r community including diversity in s*xual orientation, romantic orientation and gender. Intimate Minds also supports and does not pathologise client with non-monogamous relationship styles or clients who engage in s*x work.

From her previous role as a Speech Pathologist, Sophie brings experience in supporting people with diverse communication needs including those who use Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) and neurodiverse clients. Extended appointment times are available at no extra cost for people who use AAC or require more time to express their communication due to issues such as slower speech rate.
