On Thursday the 12/10 we were fortunate enough to showcase our rooms at Beeliar Diagnostic Imaging to Prime Minister Mr. Anthony Albanese along with our partners at Lagoon Medical Centre. Anthony Albanese visit was due to the announcement of Lagoon Medical Centre to be established as the Cockburn Medicare Urgent Care Clinic in Western Australia.

Today marks the beginning of Dry July.

Dry July is a fundraiser that encourages you to go alcohol-free in July to raise funds for people affected by cancer.

The funds you raise as part of your Dry July will provide invaluable services for cancer patients, their families and carers – whether it’s a lift to a life-saving appointment, guidance from a specialist nurse, connection to an informative voice, access to therapy programs or a bed close to treatment.

Having a month off alcohol also has great health benefits, such as sleeping better, having more energy and of course, no hangovers! So you're not only helping others, you're helping yourself.

Teal Ribbon Day is held annually on the last Wednesday in February. Teal Ribbon Day will be held on 23rd February 2022. It's a day to support Australians affected by ovarian cancer, honour those we have lost and raise awareness of this deadly disease to change the story for future generations.

As we come to our last day of operations for 2021. We want to thank all of our hardworking staff for their efforts throughout the year, with COVID-19 and all the normal challenges of our line of work we are very grateful.

We were lucky enough to celebrate 10 years of operations since the very first Wollongong Diagnostics practice and could not have done this without you all.

We also would like to thank all of the patients and referrers who supported us throughout 2021 and want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Today is the first day of NAIDOC Week.
NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

NAIDOC originally stood for ‘National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee’. This committee was once responsible for organising national activities during NAIDOC Week and its acronym has since become the name of the week itself.
