GOLDCOAST VETERANS

Tomorrow’s the day — Puppy Yoga Round Two is here. 🐶
After the incredible response from Session One, we’re doing it again. Veterans from their 20s to their 80s came together for one simple reason, to reconnect, switch off for an hour, and just enjoy being around good people (and puppies).

One Veteran told us:
“You have no idea how much I needed that.”
That’s why this matters.

Join Redsix tomorrow for Session Two of our Social Connection Series with Karmably Events and their therapy puppies.

As we honour those who have served, those who continue to serve, and those who gave their lives. We also stand for those still carrying the weight of service, the visible and invisible wounds that endure long after the uniform is worn.

We remember, too, those lost to those invisible battles.
Those who died by su***de as a result of their service are not forgotten. Their lives mattered. Their stories matter.
And the impact of their loss lives on in the hearts of those who love them.

Service does not end with the individual. It extends into families, into homes, into everyday life. Partners who carry the load in silence. Children shaped by absence.

Loved ones who become carers, advocates, and anchors through uncertainty and trauma.
Their strength is often unseen, but it is foundational.

We honour them all.

Lest we forget.

Today is World Health Day.

Health isn’t just about what’s visible or measurable; it’s also about how you feel, think, cope, and connect. Mental health is not separate from physical health; it’s central to it.

In the pace of everyday life, it’s easy to overlook the quieter signs, stress that lingers, burnout that builds, or simply feeling not quite like yourself. These moments matter. They are worth paying attention to.

Small steps, checking in with yourself, reaching out, seeking support, can create meaningful change over time. Early support isn’t just helpful; it can be transformative.

At Good Mind Therapeutics, we believe care should feel accessible, thoughtful, and tailored to you. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to wellbeing, and you deserve support that reflects your needs.

As the Easter break arrives, we want to take a moment to acknowledge something simple but important, the value of pause.

Life doesn’t often give us natural stopping points. This weekend is one of them. A chance to slow down, step back, and reconnect with what matters, whether that’s rest, time with people you care about, or simply a quiet moment to breathe.

From all of us at GoodMind, we hope this break gives you exactly what you need, space, clarity, and a bit of ease.

Your brain is constantly changing, every thought, habit, and experience shapes it.

This is called neuroplasticity.

But here’s what most people don’t realise:
it can work for you or against you.

Negative neuroplasticity reinforces patterns of stress, anxiety, and low mood, making those states feel automatic over time.

Positive neuroplasticity does the opposite. It helps build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and create healthier mental pathways.

The difference isn’t just theoretical.
It directly impacts how you think, feel, and respond to life.

With the right support, your brain can be guided toward more adaptive, positive patterns.

Because change isn’t just possible
it’s already happening.

Brain Awareness Week | 16–22 March 2026

This week marks Brain Awareness Week, a global initiative dedicated to increasing understanding of brain health, neuroscience, and the vital role the brain plays in our overall wellbeing.

At Good Mind Therapeutics, we believe that when people understand the brain, they are empowered to care for their health in deeper and more meaningful ways. Every conversation about brain health helps individuals recognise when something isn’t quite right, encourages them to seek support earlier, and strengthens awareness of the remarkable organ that shapes our thoughts, emotions, and daily experiences.

Your brain sits at the centre of everything you do how you think, feel, learn, connect, and navigate the world around you. Caring for it is not only about addressing challenges when they arise; it is also about nurturing resilience, understanding your body, and taking small but important steps to support lifelong wellbeing.

Advances in neuroscience are continually expanding our understanding of the brain and opening new pathways for care. These discoveries are helping shape innovative approaches that support people in improving their overall mental and neurological wellbeing.

During Brain Awareness Week, we celebrate the extraordinary progress in brain science and encourage our community to stay curious, ask questions, and prioritise brain health.

Because the small steps we take today learning, supporting one another, and investing in our wellbeing, can create a powerful impact for the future.
