Late 2025 Jason, our directing physiotherapist 🧑‍⚕️ , delivered a tailored workshop on common Pilates 💪 injuries with the lovely energetic community of .belmore . We had real case studies of shoulder, elbow, wrist and hip injuries and gave immediate physiotherapy solutions ✅ for the class to learn. Oftentimes it is best practice to continue 🔥 Pilates even when you have an injury because it keeps your body moving and recovering.. as long as you know what you’re doing! 💫 Val and her team have been incredible for hosting and doing a fantastic job keeping the Belmore community fit, flexible and strong. There are always new workshops on offer on weekends. Highly recommend! And of course Narrow Gate Physiotherapy is the Belmore physiotherapist of choice. Dr Karmakar is one of the great ones who sees the big picture for his clients and utilizes exercise and lifestyle modifications to achieve results before opting into injections so that clients see long term meaningful change where the client is in control. 🔥 As a clinic with special interest in sports rehabilitation and men’s health, it is incredibly valuable to have outbound referrals where we are confident that the practitioner is sensitive and competent with their trade. Recently, Jason (men’s health physiotherapy practitioner) and Dr Andrew Harris 👨‍⚕️ hosted a joint workshop with the retired men at Ashfield’s Cardinal Freeman Village. We spoke all things taboo about men and older age including mental health, responsibility as men and more practical components of falls prevention and opening opportunity for incontinence, ED and pelvic pain.
There were retired businessmen, engineers, marketers, family men and men who have contributed greatly to Australia. Do you know someone who would benefit from talking men to men? 🙋
