Ironbark: Standing Tall and Strong is a friendly weekly program where you can:

🍽 Enjoy a feed
💪 Take part in gentle exercises
🧠 Learn about falls prevention and staying strong

Free Parenting Workshop: Keeping Your Children Safe Online

Following the recent social media ban and changes to online safety policies, we’ve added a new session to our parenting programs focused on helping parents better understand how to keep their children safe online.

This informative workshop will provide practical tips, guidance, and resources to help you navigate the online world with your children.

We’re excited to begin a creative journey to design a vibrant new mural for our Community Garden, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

Come along, share your ideas, and help shape the design.

🌭 Community BBQ This Afternoon! 🌭

Our Community BBQ is on this afternoon from 1:30pm, with the help from the wonderful Salvation Army volunteers.

Come on down and enjoy a free sausage sizzle and refreshments, have a chat, and connect with others in the community.

The Kirketon Road Centre Health Van will also be in attendance if anyone would like to drop by for a visit.

We hope to see you there!

The Hub at Lexo Updates…

Unfortunately, the Vinnies Van won’t be visiting today. They will be back next Thursday for a one off time of 12:30–1:30pm then back to normal moving forwards 🥪

Our community garden upgrade works have also started, so this space will be unavailable for the next couple of days while the improvements are underway 🪴🪏

We apologise for any inconvenience and really appreciate your patience while we work to make the space even better for everyone 🌱

🌭 Community BBQ Today at The Hub@Lexo 🌭

Just a quick reminder that our Community BBQ is on today!

The Hub at Lexo team and Kirketon Road Centre staff will be firing up the BBQ and keeping this great community catch-up going while our friends at the Salvation Army take a short break.

🕜 1:30pm – 3:00pm

Come along for a free sausage sizzle, light refreshments, and a chance to catch up with the community.

Worried about scams or unsure how to protect yourself online or over the phone? Come along to our FREE Scam Awareness Session and learn how to stay safe.

📅 Friday 6th March
🕑 2:00pm – 3:30pm

Hosted by Services Australia, this informative session will cover:
✅ How to recognise common scams
✅ Ways to protect yourself
✅ What to do if you think you’ve been scammed

There will also be extra time after the session for one-on-one support with any other Services Australia related questions or issues.
