I always thought 🤔 I wanted to be genuine ✨ or authentic — but how do I do that when I don’t know what I’m doing exactly in therapy?

Discovering the basics 📚 and foundations of preschool language therapy 🗣️ helped me step into being more of my authentic Speechie self and feeling fulfilled in my work 🌟.

One way I did this was creating the systems and structures for myself, which is now the PLA 💡.

Last week our family took a break and headed on a road trip up to QLD ☀️. Grateful to have the moments to refresh and relax 😌 (if that’s a thing with 2 small kids!? 😂)

🌟 Planning a therapy session for a language goal you haven’t targeted before can feel overwhelming. When we are in overwhelm mode, we can end up doing lots of things but not the RIGHT things. 🤷‍♀️

So, how do you know if you’re doing the right thing? 🤔 Get a mentor or a guide! 👩‍🏫

👥 Ask them what they did,
👀 watch how they do therapy,
🎭 role play,
📚 ask for a recap on the latest evidence, and
📝 plan your session together.
