🌸 To the Mothers With Aching Hearts This Mother’s Day 🌸
If today feels tender or hollow, I want you to know you're not alone.

Mother’s Day can stir up deep grief for those who are alienated from their children—whether by circumstance, estrangement, or loss. This pain is real. The love you carry is real. Your identity as a mother does not vanish because of disconnection.

🫶🏽 You are still a mother.

You deserve care, softness, and a moment to honour your love, even if it can’t be expressed in the way you hoped today.

Here are a few gentle self-care ideas for today:

🌷 Write a letter – even if you never send it. Let your love pour out without censorship.
🕯️ Light a candle – for hope, remembrance, or simply as a sacred act of presence.
🎨 Create something – express your emotions through art, movement, or music.
🌳 Spend time in nature – let the earth hold your heart in its quiet embrace.
💌 Speak to someone who sees you – you don’t have to carry this alone.

This day isn’t easy for everyone. Be tender with yourself. You are worthy of love and healing, always.
