Happy First Day of School Miss Amy! 🎓🍎

Miss Amy completed her undergraduate in primary school teaching as she has a passion for helping children to grow through teaching them new things. However, she craved the opportunity to work with children more closely, to personalise their teaching to their interests, their goals and what makes them shine. She felt that this was best served in an Occupational Therapy context - and we couldn’t agree more! 🤩

Miss Amy was so lucky that her hard work paid off and she was accepted into the University of Sydney Masters of Occupational Therapy degree, which she starts this week!

We couldn't be more proud if we tried! Our whole clinic community, including our beautiful kiddos and their families, are cheering her on every step of the way!!

Well done on taking the first step Miss Amy - you are exactly where you are meant to be! 💪🤩🎉

One whole year with our amazing Allied Health Assistant, Miss Charli! 🎉

Miss Charli brings so much warmth, energy and fun to our clinic every single day! Her bubbly personality instantly puts our kids at ease. It’s no surprise they absolutely adore her!

Over the past year, she has grown into such a valuable member of our team, supporting our therapists and families with care, dedication and the biggest smile.

We are so lucky to have you, Miss Charli! You truly were born to be an OT, and we are so excited to see you continue to shine brightly and share your magic with everyone!

Earlier this week we celebrated the birthday of our wonderful clinic director, Miss Lauren! 🎉

And today, on International Women’s Day, it feels like the perfect opportunity to celebrate the incredible woman behind the clinic!

Miss Lauren is the heart behind everything we do. Her passion for helping children thrive, her dedication to supporting families, and her commitment to continual learning and growth inspire our whole team every day.

We feel so lucky to work alongside someone who cares so deeply about the children, families and community we support. The beautiful environment that exists at ICDIKC is a reflection of the vision, kindness and leadership she brings to the clinic.

✨We Will Miss You, Miss Charlotte! ✨

Our beautiful Miss Charlotte's dedication and hard work has paid off, and she has been accepted into the Doctorate of Physiotherapy Degree at Bond University, in Queensland! 🤩

She has loved working with our beautiful families on their occupational therapy goals, but her heart was pulling her back to her first love - movement and dance! She hopes to help little ones move confidently through life, and we know that she will be absolutely incredible in this role!

With this excitement comes the end of an era, as Miss Charlotte has now finished up at I Can Do It! Kids Clinic and is busy preparing for her big move to Queensland. 🥹

Miss Charlotte, words cannot describe the impact that you have made in our clinic - not only to our kiddos and their families, but to our team. You bring warmth, energy, and critical thinking which simultaneously uplifts and grounds us when we need it. We are all going to miss you SO much, but we know that you will create the most magical life in Queensland and we are so excited that you are on path doing what you love!
