One of my favourite parts of the space is what happens after people first walk in.
At the beginning, you can usually feel how much someone has been carrying, mentally, emotionally, even physically.
Then slowly, things begin to soften.
Sometimes it happens during conversation.
Sometimes during the massage.
Sometimes it’s just having a quiet moment where the body finally feels safe enough to relax a little.
That’s why I love combining counselling and massage sessions together.
Because emotional stress doesn’t only stay in the mind, it often sits in the body too.
For some people, talking helps first.
For others, the body needs to slow down before the mind can follow.
There’s no “right” way to do it.
We simply work with what the person needs in that moment 🤍
