Bloom Birth

Bloom Birth I'm a postpartum doula here to co-create a safe container where you are able to rest and receive, as you and your babe integrate into this new way of being.

My services will take out the guess work, and allow you as a new parent to be replenished. In this modern age, we are marketed a postpartum period of "bouncing back" with copious amounts of caffeine and lots of visitors to hold your baby. I'm not here in support of this paradigm, but rather one where you are rested, nourished, have a space to cry, be tender, laugh, and receive all that you are mea

nt to whilst integrating with your new baby. Expect to receive nourishing and lovingly prepared home made meals each time I visit, to have your laundry folded and dishes washed, your baby lovingly held whilst you enjoy a bath for as long as you desire, and most importantly, a loving and supportive friend you can lean on without judgement. I will support you through challenges that may arise, with a gentle reminder that you and your intuition know best when it comes to you and your babe. Receiving deeply nurturing support through your postpartum journey is a blessing to you, your baby and the generations to come. It teaches us the beautiful act of being able to ask, receive and have our cups replenished, rather than just surviving. It really does take a village, and I would love to be a part of yours ~ ♡

When I initially emerged into the birth world, my offerings were centred around a full spectrum foundation ~ from prenatal, through to postpartum and beyond.

This felt beautiful at the time, I felt right where I needed to be. But as I morphed over this time, I realised my heart lies in the realm of postpartum care.

I see postpartum as a time where we weave the foundations of this generation of parents and children. One where they are rested, loved, feel safe, nourished and deeply supported.

One where their body can recover with warmth and intentionally prepared meals, and a space to be held, as they land gently, and journey through this rite of passage.

I am in awe of the butterfly effect that happens, when I see a parent supported to such depths ~ if you know a postpartum mama, I encourage you to drop them a meal, fold some washing, and run them a bath. 🤍

What a beautiful photo showcasing the Rhombus of Michaelis. This is just another example of how our bodies so efficiently know what to do shift our pelvis increasing the diameter of the pelvis to enable our baby to come down and out. That’s why when I hear the ‘big baby’ talk I always say to women ‘trust your body is designed to know what to do’ because it really does. It will mould, open and expand for your baby to find its way earthside. When I’m with a mama in labour and see this I get rather excited and in awe of how the body does all the talking. Amazing stuff!!

O losango de Michaelis⁣
⁣⁣
O corpo busca todo espaço possível pra facilitar a saída do bebê!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
