It’s about time I reintroduced myself.

Hi! I’m Bianca – founder of Embodied Self Therapy, trauma-sensitive somatic therapist, host of Healing CPTSD, first-generation Australian daughter of Filipino and German descent, and proud aunty on her own journey of trauma recovery.

I’ve spent over a decade supporting people across continents – from frontline community work to therapeutic roles in NGOs – walking alongside those navigating trauma, displacement, addiction, disability, and marginalisation.

After 10 years in the sector, I felt the limits of the system. I witnessed how mainstream services often retraumatised the very people they were meant to support – leaving many to fall through the cracks.

In 2021, another under-resourced, poorly managed workplace left me burnt tf out. Frustrated, I knew there had to be another way. One that centred care, dignity, and safety.

That led me to create Embodied Self Therapy.

Since 2022, I’ve supported clients around the world in moving through CPTSD, nervous system repair, and trauma integration with nuance, integrity, and compassion.

Laughing, moving, grieving, feeling, dreaming – together. It’s often felt more like magic than work.

My approach is grounded in safety, empowerment, and curiosity, and centres you through a depathologising and decolonising lens.

What began as a focus on childhood trauma has expanded to hold the collective — weaving in social justice, ancestral wisdom, and cultural reclamation, while honouring lineage, land, identity, the nervous system and spirit as sacred sites of healing.
