【A Big Step from 'Not Knowing' to 'Knowing' About Posture】
When someone says, "Try to have the correct posture,"
how many people can confidently do it correctly?
Since I was small, I was self-conscious about my height and broad shoulders, so I always curled up to appear smaller. I might have had a hunchback since elementary school.
Even when my mother told me to straighten my posture,
I didn't know what to do or how to do it.
Some people who say they’re careful about their posture because they want to improve it might actually be doing it wrong, worsening the misalignment of their body and causing pain.
The exercises they do every day with good intentions might actually be the cause of their pain.
People interested in the posture improvement classes I’m currently teaching using the Shoji Method are those who have noticed their own postural misalignments, or those who wish to improve their posture, become healthier, or enhance their appearance.
Many are aware that the poor posture and bad habits in their daily lives, like crossing their legs, slouching, or overusing their smartphones, are causing them physical discomfort.
Everyone has a strong awareness of their health!
However,
🔸 They don’t know what the truly correct posture is.
🔸 They don’t know the correct exercise or stretching methods.
They just "don’t know."
So why not start by "knowing"?
This is a high-therapy-effect exercise class where you can feel a significant change in just one session.
After the class, your pelvic misalignment will almost be corrected, your body will feel much better, and you may even see improvements in your style and a reduction in facial lines.
Everyone enjoys the exercises, and the changes are so amazing that I’m constantly surprised myself!
Since most participants are very aware of their health, many say they want to do it again and continue attending the classes.
"I had so much fun, time flew by! I’m now mindful of how I sit at home, making sure I sit on my sit bones."
"My hands feel tingly, as if blood is flowing through them."
"I couldn’t align my shoulders without looking in the mirror, but now I can stand straight without thinking."
"I used to cross my arms a lot, but with my chest open, I don’t feel the need to anymore (it doesn’t feel awkward)."
"My legs feel lighter." "I can see better."
"I can breathe easily." "Standing feels more comfortable."
"My lower back pain disappeared."
"I woke up refreshed the next morning."
These are some of the comments from participants in a recent exercise class.
The exercise class is currently conducted only in Japanese, but you can expect similar effects with the Shoji-style treatment.
