It always reminds me about how rewarding my job is where I am part of team of people that make a genuine difference in another human beings life. It is rare to be able to do that in your job. This lovely 30 yo mum of 2 kids, has done the hard work post pregnancy and lost a lot of the weight that unfortunately tends to pile on in the childbearing years. Unfortunately the damage to skin and abdominal wall has already been done and her shape did not return to what it used to be pre-kids, despite the massive weight loss. With the help of Extended LipoAbdominoplasty and hip liposuction and abdominal muscle repair/realignment, we managed to reveal her true shape and a new waistline that was hiding underneath. This is a functional procedure that has an aesthetic component and can really change the quality of life of our patients significantly for the rest of their lives.

Breast Implant revision surgery is tricky and challenging to get a good result. This 48 yo lady had ruptured implants with some bottoming out and upper pole flatness developing as well as some early breast ptosis/saginess/waterfall deformity. We removed ruptured implants, cleaned out and tightened pocket with internal bra after a partial capsulectomy and capsulorrhaphy, highlighting and enhancing cleavage shadow lines whilst upsizing her round implants from 325 to 400 cc, giving her a slight lift (the so called scarless breast lift). I would have liked to add fat grafting to this, but patient wasn’t interested in this, I think it would have enhanced this result even further.

One of the worst things that guys hate is a feminine looking chest. It leads to a life time of embarrassment, concealment and mockery from other men. My goal in correcting Gynaecomastia is to create a more masculine chest, so that my patients are comfortable to walk around with their shirts off on the beach and don’t have to hide behind baggy clothes. I feel like we have achieved this here and hopefully this young man can have a more normal life with good self confidence.

This 40 yo woman is in a great shape, but her breast asymmetry and breast sag really bothered her. So we reshaped her breast and corrected the asymmetry through a Mastopexy/breast lift procedure. She also developed a hernia in her belly button over time so we fixed that at the same time. She is a great example of how good surgical expertise/experience can make a significant difference to our patients quality of life.

This 47 yo mother of 4 kids managed to lose 25kgs following gastric sleeve surgery.
Not unexpectedly she had a severe abdominal wall muscle separation and 2 hernias. I performed an extended LipoAbdominoplasty with x2 hernia repairs and re**us muscle realignment all in one surgery. As a result she has a massive improvement in her quality of life and life satisfaction. She no longer needs to tuck away the rolls in her lower abdomen and can enjoy again the things she used to take for granted before she had her family. It’s an opportunity to go back in time.
