It is with great sadness that we share with you the passing of a much-loved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunty & Friend, Mersina Psomadelis.

The funeral service will be held at St Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 72-76 Gardeners Road, Kingsford at 10:00am on Monday 30th March 2026.

Following the church service, the committal will take place at Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park, 12 Military Rd, Matraville, Section G50, Grave 66.

The wake will be held at the Condolence Rooms at Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park.

The viewing will be held at St Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, 180 Coward St, Mascot at 5:00pm on Thursday 26th March 2026.

The funeral service will also be held at St Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, Mascot at 9:30am on Friday 27th March 2026.

Following the church service, the committal will take place at Woronora Memorial Park, 121 Linden St, Sutherland, Section: Greek Monumental 3, Grave 94.

Victoria Cross Funerals is an independent, family owned and operated funeral service business in Sydney. We are proud to offer services to all denominations and embrace people of all backgrounds, religions and beliefs. Our experienced and compassionate funeral directors will come to you in the comfort of your home to arrange and coordinate the funeral service. We aim to provide families of all cultural backgrounds with guidance and support in arranging a beautiful funeral service. We endeavour to ease the burden during what is a difficult and emotional time.

Victoria Vitetzakis

Having worked in the funeral industry since 2012 and experienced her own personal loss, Victoria’s warm and empathetic nature has supported many grieving families through almost 1000 funeral arrangements.

Victoria’s efficiency and attentive approach to arranging funerals are her greatest qualities that many families have commended her on. You can feel confident knowing that Victoria will treat your family with respect and dignity as if they are her own, and that you are dealing with a true professional.
