🤰Your body goes through many changes during pregnancy, that “belly pop” is one of the exciting changes you may experience.

Some women may feel like their bump is present from 12 weeks.
At this point your uterus has grown up and out of your pelvis, your waist is expanding and you might find that you need to loosen your pants.

However, if you’re expecting multiple babies or you’ve been pregnant before you might notice your bump a bit earlier.

🤰🫄Pregnancy over 40 is increasingly more common.
This can be for a few reasons, such as women focusing mainly on career or other lifestyle choices before having children.

Due to medical advances in fertility, pregnancy and delivery it is possible to safely have a baby at the age of 40.

However, it is still considered high risk and your health care team will monitor you and your baby more closely.

You may be more prone to:
High blood pressure
Gestational diabetes
Low birth weight
Uterine fibroids

Being 40 does not prevent you from having a successful pregnancy.
