On Sunday morning, 3 May, Bishop Robert Chrząszcz (whose role is to support Polish people living abroad) visited our Aged Care. The occasion for the visit was the joint celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Częstochowa and Polish Constitution Day.
During the Holy Mass, the Bishop emphasised how important the presence of Poles in Australia is, and how through their lives, prayer, and the offering of their sufferings, they bring a precious gift to the life of the Church and the wider community.
After the Eucharist, commemorative photos were taken, and Bishop Robert was then given a tour of our facility.
