Hoan My becomes the first private healthcare group in Vietnam to achieve ACHS International (ACHSI) certification across its entire network!

We are proud to share that 17 hospitals under Hoan My Medical Corporation have earned Foundation certification while one (1) hospital has achieved Accreditation from the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards International (ACHSI). This achievement demonstrates Hoan My’s strong commitment to quality, safety, and patient outcomes

The milestone was celebrated at a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City, attended by leaders from the Ministry of Health, local Departments of Health, Austrade, Hoan My, and ACHSI.

Our Executive Director, Louise Cuskelly, represented ACHSI at the event, recognising Hoan My’s achievement and reaffirming our shared commitment to advancing patient-centred care.

Historic Milestone for ACHS International! 🌟

We are proud to announce that ACHS International (ACHSI) is the first and only organisation to receive unanimous endorsement from the Vietnam Ministry of Health Appraisal Council for ACHS international quality standards. This landmark recognition highlights ACHSI’s commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and global healthcare excellence. The Appraisal Council noted that ACHSI is unique in our approach to quality improvement and measuring healthcare outcomes, with standards that are both descriptive and outcome-based. The Council overwhelmingly valued the standards developed in Australia - ranked #1 country globally for healthcare outcomes.

Executive Director, Louise Cuskelly, presented to the Council in Hanoi and also acknowledged the significant support and achievement of Hung Vuong Hospital, the first public hospital in Vietnam to successfully achieve Accreditation to the ACHSI EQuIP7 standards in 2024.

“This endorsement is a testament to the strength of our standards and the dedication of our international team,” said Louise Cuskelly. “We are honoured to support Vietnam’s healthcare system in its journey toward global excellence.”
