Meridians are derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine and are associated with our life force energy / chi.
In Kinesiology one of the aspects we check is the state and flow of your meridians.
A meridian is a pathway of energy that flows in a continuous motion around the body that run in a 24 hour cycle.
There are 12 main meridians each associated with a particular organ and time of day that its in peak performance.
We have 2 midline systems connected to the brain which deal with energy entering and leaving the body called Conception and Governing vessels.
Each meridian has its unique and vital roles within the system.
During the 24hr clock your energy/chi moves through each meridian in a continuous flow,
Each assigned a 2 hour time slot;
7am-9am Stomach
9am-11am Spleen
11am-1pm Heart
1pm-3pm Small Intestine
3pm-5pm Bladder
5pm-7pm Kidney
7pm-9pm Pericardium
9pm-11pm Triple Warmer ( associated with Adrenals & Thyroid )
11pm-1am Gall Bladder
1am-3am Liver
3am-5am Lung
5am-7am Large Intestine
If you are having recurring problems at the same time every day that organ/meridian is in distress…
For example if you are waking up between 1am-3am most nights there is stagnation/block of energy within the liver meridian.
Some emotions connected to the liver would be anger and resentment.
Perhaps these feelings are unconscious, suppressed or maybe you are aware of these feelings but don't know how to clear them.
Kinesiology helps identify, release and remove any blocks ( conscious and unconscious ) bringing you back into balance on a
physical, mental, emotional, energetic and nutritional level.
