With a lived experience to trying to source quality care and support for their daughter, the family were faced with multiple providers who didn't meet their expectations. This motivated them to launch Euroa Care, determined to do things differently. Euroa Care is a boutique care provider

☕ A reminder that our Morning Tea in support of the Cancer Council is just around the corner!

Join us for a meaningful morning of connection, community and fundraising as we come together to support a cause that touches so many lives.

This is also a wonderful opportunity to see some of our programs in action, with clients showcasing their skills through catering, hospitality and presentations, while Ability Cleaning will be making its live debut.

There will also be Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea merchandise available on the day, with all proceeds going directly to the Cancer Council.

A day at the footy is always a good idea! 🏉

Jordan, Kayla and Breeana had an incredible time at CommBank Stadium, cheering on their teams and enjoying a thrilling game!

But outings like these are about more than just having fun. Throughout the day, the participants were building their confidence and independence by using public transport, reading train timetables, navigating stations, purchasing their own refreshments and socialising with other footy fans.

Community outings allow participants to learn practical life skills in real-world settings while doing the things they enjoy most. And judging by the smiles, this one was a winner! 😊

A busy and engaging cooking program yesterday at Euroa Care, with clients working together to prepare cottage pie, chicken tacos, cheese and bacon scrolls, and Filipino-style muffins.

Clients supported each other throughout the session, contributing to meal preparation, cooking, and clean-up, with plenty of conversation and teamwork along the way. It was a great day of participation and connection in the kitchen.

Next week’s menu is already set: burgers and potato wedges are on the way! 🍔

These photos didn’t need editing… Steve already brought the personality 🤣

A spontaneous trip down to Kiama turned into one of those days worth remembering. From discovering a hidden beach spot with sculptures, taking photo after photo, sitting by the ocean, and finishing the day with a chicken burger and chips at one of Steve’s favourite lunch spots.

The best part? Seeing Steve genuinely excited, laughing, exploring, and enjoying every moment.

Community access is more than just getting out of the house. It’s about choice, independence, confidence, and creating moments that make people feel good. Days like this are what it’s all about 💙

Tuesday Cooking Program 🍳

Breeana and Jordan went straight into the kitchen yesterday to prep a full menu including Basque cheesecake, mini pies, and sausage rolls. There was lots of chopping, peeling, mixing, cooking, and plenty of laughs along the way 😄

One thing we’ve really loved seeing is how much both participants’ confidence in the kitchen has grown. Their knife skills, teamwork, and independence continue to improve every week, and today they were both heavily involved in preparing fillings, assembling pies, cooking on the stovetop, and safely using the oven 👏

A funny moment from yesterday was when the group realised there wasn’t enough puff pastry left for the sausage rolls, so tortilla wraps became the backup plan. Surprisingly, they turned out to be a hit and lunch disappeared very quickly 😂

Breakfast was another highlight, with Breeana and Jordan preparing and cooking their own omelettes in the morning under supervision. Jordan even made one for Jenn, who was very impressed with his cooking skills.

The teamwork didn’t stop once the cooking was finished either. Breeana helped scrub and sanitise the stovetop, sweep and mop the floors, while Jordan took care of the rubbish, recycling, and organising drawers. Meals were packed up to take home, and everyone worked together to leave the kitchen sparkling clean.

One of the nicest moments from the day was hearing Breeana’s mum share how much confidence she’s seen grow at home since joining the cooking program 💙💚

Yesterday’s cooking program at Breakaway:

The participants worked together on the shopping, scanned and packed groceries, prepared ingredients, cooked lunch, cleaned up, and packed leftovers to take home. It was great seeing everyone involved and giving things a go throughout the day.

There were some really lovely moments of growth in the kitchen too. Trying the stovetop, following recipes, making healthy food choices, supporting each other, and building confidence with everyday life skills 👏

Between the honey chicken, fried rice, fruit skewers, and rocky road, the kitchen was busy all day and the participants should be so proud of what they achieved together ✨

We’re inviting you to Euroa Care’s Morning Tea in support of the Cancer Council ☕️

Attached to this invitation is a letter from our Director, Jenn, sharing a personal message about why this fundraiser is meaningful to us and why we are coming together as a community in support of the Cancer Council.

We are encouraging our clients, staff, families and carers to attend a morning of connection and purpose, with all funds raised going directly to the Cancer Council.

On the day, you will see Euroa Care programs in action, including our cooking program catering the event, clients showcasing their waitressing and presentation skills, and Ability Cleaning live in action for the first time.
