Acceptance of self…
This was a lesson I took years to understand.
It wasn’t until I uncovered all the parts of myself I had been ignoring and avoiding, the parts of me that were negative, self hating and destructive, that I was able to sit in a place of acceptance and compassion.
When we are trying to change our lives we try to focus only on the positive we want to create and push aside all the negativity, the past mistakes and the dark thoughts.
Don’t be scared to face them. Analyse them.
What you resist persists.
Sitting in your thoughts won’t make you regress it will actually propel you forward much quicker.
