Safe to say… Jake’s answers had us laughing 😂

A beautiful planned caesarean birth ✨

Thank you Kyah and Matt for trusting Kaia Birth with your birth education, and for sharing your positive caesarean birth story with us 🤎

Kyah had planned and prepared for a home birth through the Belmont MGP home birth team, but their little girl had other ideas, remaining breech despite trying everything from moxibustion and acupuncture to spinning babies and reflexology.

I am so proud of how empowered they felt walking into their caesarean.

Because of the preparation and education they learnt, they felt confident advocating for what mattered most to them:
✨ Immediate skin to skin
✨ Delayed cord clamping
✨ Uninterrupted bonding time
✨ A calm and connected birth environment (yep - even in a theatre!)

As Kyah said herself — they remembered the BRAIN acronym from class, and knew they didn’t have to simply accept the first answer without discussion.

A positive birth, feeling informed, respected, supported and empowered in their choices 🤎✨

POV: your friends come over postpartum and instead of the awkward “can I do anything to help?”… they pick a chore from the jar 🥹🤎

Emma & Jake came to Kaia Birth and learnt about the ‘chore jar’ — a simple little idea to make postpartum support actually helpful. No mental load. No trying to think of jobs on the spot. Just a lucky dip and your village gets to work hehe.

Before baby arrives, sit down with your partner and look around your home. Write down all the little things that pile up in postpartum:
• hang the washing
• empty the dishwasher
• refill water bottles
• walk the dog
• bring coffee
• hold baby while mum showers

Pop them in a jar and let your people love you through action 🤎

The best part? Emma & Jake were telling their friends all about the Kaia Birth class they did (and loved)… and their friend surprised them with this jar afterwards. We LOVE to see it.

After recently polling our community, SO many of you told us you’d love the option to complete the Kaia Birth course in just one day.

And honestly… we get it 🤎
Between work, family, appointments and trying to rest before baby arrives, committing to an entire weekend can feel like a lot.

So — introducing our NEW Kaia Birth One Day Course. Starting with our Central Coast Location ✨
