Good news is - usually not! 💕
Around 3–4 months postpartum, many parents notice their breasts feel softer or smaller, but this doesn’t usually mean supply has decreased.
In the early weeks, fullness often comes from extra blood flow, fluid, and inflammation. As your body adjusts, milk production becomes more efficient, matching your baby’s needs perfectly.
At the same time, your baby becomes faster and more coordinated at the breast, so feeds often get shorter.
Soft breasts + shorter feeds = a well-regulated supply, not a low one.
💕 Trust your baby’s nappies, weight gain, and how content they seem after a feed
🤱 Your body and baby are simply finding their rhythm.
