About the role:
EK Medical is seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team in Engadine, NSW. This role offers the flexibility of a casual or part-time position.
In addition to our general practice services, our clinic also offers a range of cosmetic skincare treatments, including facials, chemical peels, and advanced skin consultations. This is a great opportunity to work in a unique setting that combines medical care with skin health and beauty services.
What you'll be doing:
* Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and welcoming manner, whether they’re visiting for a health check-up or a skincare consultation
* Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's diary, including both GP services and cosmetic skincare bookings
* Handling patient inquiries and booking appointments for medical and cosmetic services
* Coordinating and processing medical billing and payments, including cosmetic treatment fees
* Maintaining accurate patient records and filing documentation across both medical and skincare services
* Providing administrative support to the clinical team, including our cosmetic skin therapists and GPs
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within the healthcare industry
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, clinicians, and skincare specialists
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain efficient clinic operations across both general practice and cosmetic services
* Proficiency in using medical software (Best Practice) and general office technology
* A caring, empathetic, and customer-focused approach to patient service, whether assisting with a health concern or a skincare appointment
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team that values wellness and aesthetic care
