A widening part is one of the most common early signs I see in clinic 👀

It doesn’t mean panic — but it does mean pay attention.

There are many treatment options available:
• medical
• natural
• cosmetic

The key is choosing the right one for the right cause.

This is why seeing a Trichologist matters — hair loss is not one-size-fits-all.

“I can tell a lot about your hair loss just by your part.” 👀

Your part line isn’t random — it’s diagnostic.

➡️ Widening part
Often points to pattern thinning

➡️ Diffuse thinning
Usually linked to shedding or internal triggers

➡️ Frontal recession
Needs early attention — timing matters

This is why hair loss isn’t one-size-fits-all
…and why guessing treatments often fails.

🚨 Most UNDERRATED hair tool 🚨
Not a serum. Not a supplement.
👉 A microfibre towel

✔️ Dries hair faster
✔️ Less friction = less breakage
✔️ Cheap & overlooked

Your hair will thank you.

Holiday indulgence ➜ January restriction ➜ hair shedding ❌

This is one of the most common triggers for telogen effluvium that I see in clinic every year.

It’s not about being “perfect” —
it’s about avoiding extremes.

Sudden calorie restriction, nutrient gaps, or aggressive dieting can signal stress to the body… and hair is one of the first systems to be sacrificed.

✨ Enjoy the holidays
✨ Avoid crash dieting
✨ Think consistency, not punishment

Your hair health is built over months — not weeks.

🚿 Washing your hair less to “train” your scalp to be less oily?
Let me stop you right there.

Your scalp does not have a feedback system that says:
“Oh… she skipped wash day… better slow down oil production.”

❌ That’s not how biology works.

💡 Sebum (oil) production is hormonally driven.
If your hormones stayed exactly the same each day, your scalp would produce the same amount of oil every day — regardless of whether you washed your hair or not.

The messages come from inside your body, not from your shampoo bottle.

So when people say:
👉 “Just wash it less and it will stop being oily”
What they really mean is:
👉 “Just live with oily hair longer.”

✨ Clean hair ≠ overproduction
✨ Washing ≠ causing oiliness
✨ Hormones = the driver

If your scalp is oily, the solution is understanding the cause — not skipping hygiene.

Save this.
Send it to your oily-scalp friend.
And please… wash your hair when it needs it 🧼💆‍♀️

✨ PSORIASIS. REAL RESULTS. NO STEROIDS. ✨

This is what can happen when you treat the cause — not just suppress the symptom 👀

🔬 The video you’re watching shows before → after scalp microscopy in a patient with psoriasis, managed solely with a holistic, non-pharmaceutical protocol.
No topical steroids.
No stinky shampoos.
No quick fixes.

Instead, we focused on:
✔️ reducing inflammatory load
✔️ supporting skin barrier function
✔️ addressing internal triggers
✔️ restoring scalp homeostasis

Psoriasis is an immune-mediated inflammatory condition, not just “dry scalp”.
When the internal drivers are addressed, the scalp often follows.

📌 This isn’t about being “anti-medicine”.
📌 It’s about knowing when suppression is necessary — and when regulation is possible.

Results will always vary, but outcomes like this are why I love trichology 💛

If you’ve been told psoriasis is something you’ll “just have to live with”, this is your sign to ask better questions.

🚫 Stop blaming minoxidil 🚫

The idea that “your hair gets worse when you stop minoxidil” is being wildly over-hyped.

Here’s the truth:
Genetic hair thinning doesn’t switch off.
Hormones don’t go away.

So when you stop any treatment that was holding things steady…
the underlying process simply resumes.

That’s biology — not a rebound effect.

If this cleared things up, save & share because this myth needs to die 😌

Should you wash your hair less often when you’re experiencing hair loss?
Short answer: NO. And here’s why ⤵️

The hairs you’re seeing fall out today actually shed because of something that happened about 3 months ago.
So skipping washes won’t reduce your overall hair fall — it just means those loose hairs sit on the scalp longer… waiting for enough friction to finally come out.

💡 Washing doesn’t cause shed. It simply releases hairs that were already going to fall.

Keeping your scalp clean supports:
✨ Better follicle health
✨ Less inflammation
✨ A fresher environment for new growth

So please don’t fear your wash days — they’re not the enemy.
If you’re noticing more shedding, let’s focus on the cause, not the shampoo.

✨ Struggling with a flaky scalp?
You are not alone — and the good news is that flakiness is one of my favourite conditions to treat.

Once I make a clear diagnosis and pinpoint the exact cause, treatment is often simple, straightforward, and results can be fast and dramatic.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing patients finally get relief after months (or years!) of trying random products that were never targeting the real issue ✨
