NeuroCrew is a 3-day holiday program created to provide neurodivergent kids with a safe, supportive space to explore their strengths and form social connections. Through fun, interactive activities, we focus on helping kids understand, celebrate, and advocate for themselves while building connections with others.

Program Goals:
• Meaningful Social Connections: Helping kids form authentic, lasting friendships through understanding themselves and others.
• Self-Awareness: Supporting each child to discover their unique strengths, preferences, and communication styles.
• Self-Acceptance: Boosting confidence and acceptance through embracing each child’s authentic and neurodivergent self.
• Self-Advocacy: Empowering kids to recognise their needs and express their perspectives with confidence.

Program Details:
Ages: Ideal for kids aged 8-11.
Dates: Tuesday 15th, Wednesday 16th, Thursday 17th April 2025
Times: 11-12.30pm
Location: The Sydney Speech Team's Willoughby Clinic

Did you know that writing is an incredibly complex task?

1. It starts in the brain where kids need to think of what they want to say
2. They have to organise their ideas in a clear order that makes sense
3. Then choose the right words
4. At the same time they need to think about how the words are spelt
5. Their hands have to keep up and their motor skills and handwriting can slow them down
6. It’s a lot to juggle, especially under time pressure or when confidence is low
