“I’ve spent years in therapy, but it always feels temporary.”

Sophia came to me in early 2024. She was juggling multiple projects, but only one was profitable. Deep down, she knew she needed to focus on just one to take her business full-time.

She shared, “I’ve been in therapy for years trying to resolve my trauma, but it feels temporary. Or is it because I’m not practicing enough every day?”

I explained, “It’s not about practicing more. Most therapy focuses on the conscious mind, but trauma is stored in the body. A body-based approach is faster and more effective—it helps release limiting beliefs much quicker.”

She asked, “Can’t I just do breathing exercises daily?”
“You can, but to truly heal, you need to connect specific traumas to the parts of your body where they’re held and release them. If breathing alone worked, you’d already feel free, but you’re still stuck in the past.”

Over a few months, we worked together to:
✔ Get clear on the exact income she needed to go full-time.
✔ Focus on her main project.
✔ Reset her nervous system.
✔ Heal the trauma of not feeling good enough and her money blocks.

In November 2024, she officially went full-time in her business.

If I weren’t a professional, I’d be a dancer. 💃

There’s something magical about how movement expresses emotions words can’t capture. Dance is a universal language, weaving passion, joy, sorrow, and hope through the rhythm of our bodies.

When I dance—whether it’s to reggaeton, dancehall, or African beats—I feel free. The music takes over, guiding my steps and unlocking a sense of creativity and liberation. Dance is where art meets athleticism, blending physical strength with emotional depth.

The stage, the spotlight, the choreography—it all holds a special place in my heart. Performing has always been a dream, one I try to bring to life whenever I can.

This passion reminds me to follow my heart and stay connected to what brings me joy. So if you catch me dancing, now you know why. ✨

❌ Waiting until they hit rock bottom to seek help
❌ Saying “I’m fine” instead of opening up
❌ Letting others ignore their boundaries
❌ Believing others are somehow better than them
❌ Feeling guilty for taking breaks or vacations

Remember:
💡 It’s okay to have a life outside of work.
💡 It’s okay to rest, play, and prioritize your well-being.
💡 It’s okay to let go of negativity—people, feelings, or thoughts.
