“I’ve spent years in therapy, but it always feels temporary.”
Sophia came to me in early 2024. She was juggling multiple projects, but only one was profitable. Deep down, she knew she needed to focus on just one to take her business full-time.
She shared, “I’ve been in therapy for years trying to resolve my trauma, but it feels temporary. Or is it because I’m not practicing enough every day?”
I explained, “It’s not about practicing more. Most therapy focuses on the conscious mind, but trauma is stored in the body. A body-based approach is faster and more effective—it helps release limiting beliefs much quicker.”
She asked, “Can’t I just do breathing exercises daily?”
“You can, but to truly heal, you need to connect specific traumas to the parts of your body where they’re held and release them. If breathing alone worked, you’d already feel free, but you’re still stuck in the past.”
