AIHW exists to meet the growing demand for innovation in mental health and psychological support. We are dedicated to promoting human potential and maintaining social and emotional wellbeing. We embrace and practice a stepped-care approach to mental health and wellbeing, and offer services which are not only reactive to mental health needs, but are proactive and preventative. Our services range from preventative interventions, to psychological therapy for acute mental health needs. We work closely with our clients to deliver programs and services which are tailored in intensity to meet the needs of the individual or organisation. We have worked with hundreds of individuals around Australia, and organisations including the Tax Institute, University of Technology Sydney, University of Sydney, Charles Darwin University, Victorian Music Teacher’s Association, Unisson Disability, Arts Wellbeing Collective, Primary and Community Care, Gamarada Universal Indigenous Resources, Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation.

JUNE NEWS📰

Our dedication to mental health support goes beyond the clinic here at AUSIHW. Our June newsletter highlights some updates within the clinic, a grounding technique, clinician availability and the DBT training our principle Clinical Psychologist .hronis provides to practitioners of the Far West Health District and Royal Flying Doctors Service.

Every quarter we send newsletters to our peers in the medical and allied health fields, including GPs, paediatricians, psychiatrists, surgeons and specialists.

Our media and marketing coordinator Maree-Rose outlines key takeaways from the 2025 Australian Psychological Society Festival of Psychology in the Gold Coast.

Over three days, Maree-Rose attended over 10 presentations, with keynotes from some of the leading psychologists pioneering research in neurodivergence, trauma and more.

It was such a wonderful experience being able to represent AUSIHW at the symposium and look forward to more opportunities to connect with our community in the future.
