Hello!
We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and friendly Speech Pathologist to join our team part time from July 2023. There will be an opportunity to transition to a full-time position at the end of 2023 if this is desirable. We are a small speech pathology team with a passion for working with children with varied communication and feeding needs.
Shining Minds Therapy is a neurodivergent affirming speech pathology practice based in Sydney's North/West. We are predominately a mobile service however we are planning to transition to a hybrid/clinic-based model in August 2023. We also offer telehealth services Australia wide and there is opportunity to WFH if you choose to take on a telehealth day. We are a small team, passionate about early language development and complex communication needs. We value high quality, evidenced based services and opt to incorporate cultural and community values into our practice. We attract a varied caseload of neurodivergency and physical disabilities. The successful candidate will have access to a generous professional development budget including guaranteed training in PROMPT and LAMP AAC within the first 8 months of employment.

Responsibilities
Deliver high quality assessment and intervention to young children with disabilities.
Deliver educational material to day care, school staff and parents.
Involved in group therapy to support social skills; AAC development and feeding skills.
Maintains high level of professional documentation.
Qualifications
A successful candidate will have.
Bachelor or Masters of Speech Pathology
We prefer at least one year post graduate experience (new graduates are welcome to apply)
Member of Speech Pathology Australia
Active NSW WWCC
Hold an Australian Driver's License
