Pilates trains the deep stabilising system - the transversus abdominis, pelvic floor and multifidus, which work together to support spinal alignment and control intra-abdominal pressure under load.

Stronger stabilisers = more effective bracing

This week, we’re focusing on prioritizing protein at each meal to better support training adaptation, recovery, and consistency.

When you train, you create stress on muscle tissue. Protein provides the amino acids required to:
✖️Stimulate muscle protein synthesis
✖️Support repair and adaptation
✖️Maintain lean muscle as training volume increases

Timing matters…
Eating protein before training helps reduce muscle breakdown and supports performance.
Eating protein after training takes advantage of the post-exercise window when muscle tissue is most responsive to rebuilding and adapting.

For women in particular, consistent protein intake across the day can supports strength gains, recovery, and long-term training outcomes.

You already know protein matters.
This week is about implementing it with intention.
