PROTEIN-PACKED FRIED RICE. 🍚
A perfect meal to add in ‘what’s left in the fridge’ and simply combine, along with some delicious condiments for optimal taste. 👌🏽

🍳 Whisk eggs, and cook in sesame seed oil on the pan. Set aside once cooked.
🥓 Sizzle some chopped short cut bacon, or leg ham, shredded chicken breast, and leek in butter.
🍃 Stir fry in ‘what’s left’ in the fridge, we used spinach, corn off the cob, carrot and parsley.
🍚 Once the veggies are cooked, stir in cooked basmati rice, adding in soy sauce and a little more sesame seed oil or butter.
🔪 Chop up your cooled down omelette and mix into fried rice.

A wholesome meal, with lots of nutritious elements, tasty but doesn’t break the calorie bank, and most importantly, contains over 30g protein per serve! 👏🏽

IT’S CHALLENGING… BUT IT’S WORTH IT.

😴 The night feeding, the cluster feeding, the demand feeding, the relentless screams at 2am… but that 20 minute walk, outside, in the sun and fresh air is worth it.
🏃🏽‍♀️ The morning rush to get both kids fed, dressed, packed, in the car… but turning up to that exercise session is worth it.
🍫 The sh*tty, quick-fix, lazy snacks are so ‘easy’ right now… but the simple, colourful, nourishing, stir fry is worth it.
💆🏽‍♀️ The house is a mess, there’s baskets of laundry to sort through, along with the bathrooms and floors to scrub… but that epsom salt bath is worth it.
⚖️ The desire to just scroll, mindlessly, switch off and get lost into social media once the kids have gone to bed… but the tracking and organising of food for the following day is worth it.

These times are certainly challenging… they’re f* tiring… and some days are complete ride offs… that’s okay. PICK YOUR BATTLES and control what you CAN control. Surrender to the rest and prioritise the best — (thats you, mumma). 🤍

UNCLE TOBYS — MOVE OVER! 👋🏽
Our super simple, high fibre, toddler approved, oat bar takes less than 10 minutes to make and providing lots of satisfaction for hungry little seagulls… (kids).

- 1.5 cups of oats
- 1/2 cup LSA meal
- 60g butter
- 2tbs honey
- 1tbs maple syrup
- 1 apple/pear purée pouch
- 2 heaped tbs self-raising flour or GF flour
- 1tbs shredded coconut
- dried fruit optional: apricots, apple, raisins, cranberries etc.

Literally combine all ingredients together in a bowl, if it looks too dry, add some more butter, even a dash of milk or coconut water. If it looks too wet, add some more self raising flour or oats. I recommend taste testing the batch before cooking, as it will taste very similar when baked… I added a touch more honey the first time but nailed it the second time.
Line your baking tray and bake in the oven on 170 degrees for 25 minutes.
Let your slice cool, before cutting into bars.

Serve to your little kiddies as a snack or part of their breakfast.
I’m sure you’ll even enjoy a slice with a cup of tea or coffee, too! ☕️

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 💡
Every week, I see (admire) this super mum of 4 arriving to BAB, putting in some serious work with her coach 🔥

You’ll see Nikki coming in at least twice every week, practising those body weight pull ups, push ups to her youngest bub, and grinding out the killer pump sessions 💪🏽 her Coach has install for her.

She’s certainly not classified as a ‘local’ to the area, with at least a 45min trip each way to BAB, however this is what looks like for Nikki. This is what putting her self-worth and health as priority, looks like for Nikki.
She’s the ‘client spotlight’ for this week at BAB for being a real inspiration to all of the mums inside/outside of BAB, to even the mums-to-be or to any female… she totally proves that we’re unstoppable and resilient AF. 😏🖤
