🌿 REFERRALS NOW OPEN | Horse Care & Mentoring Program 🌿

Hooves for Hope, in partnership with Sanctuary Care Services, is delivering a culturally respectful Horse Care & Mentoring Program for Indigenous people.

This hands-on program supports Aboriginal participants to develop:
• Practical horse care and animal handling skills
• Confidence, responsibility and routine
• Social, emotional and wellbeing skills
• Pathways toward employment and future opportunities in animal care

Participants are supported by experienced mentors and work alongside horses in a calm, supportive environment that values cultural safety, connection and strengths-based learning.

This program may suit those who may benefit from:
✔ Practical, hands-on learning
✔ Mentoring and routine
✔ Connection to animals and nature
✔ Alternative pathways to education or employment

Hadn't even had my morning coffee, and the phone rings. Can you take a second truck? And the logistics begin.
Whoa today is going to be big!!

Today December 24th
28E Walker St, South Windsor

12 p.m - 3 p.m we are having a 'Christmas Pop Up'.
Need a helping hand ? to get through Christmas.
Then come see us today.
Not sure what's coming in on the trucks from Foodbank NSW & ACT but if it's anything like the last delivery and on top of so many other goodies (including Christmas ones ), we have put aside, it going to be massive!!

If you are inside the gate by 3 pm you will be served.
It’s FREE, but a donation would be greatly appreciated to help cover our ever increasing overheads, and help us keep our doors open. Remember we are not funded and volunteer powered.
Cash and Eftpos accepted.

You maybe asked for ID.
Please bring your own bags.
And please, please , please if sharing this post share all the information, especially about the parking.
Street parking only. No parking in the complex, or parking or stopping across ours or neighbouring driveways even for a minute. We reserve the right to refuse service.

Thank you to everyone thats continues to support us, and please share our food pop up posts, and tell your neighbours and friends, as they might be doing it tough, and need a helping hand especially this time of year. We do realise that many are not on social media but thats the only way we can get the word out.

Just a friendly reminder to please listen to any and all directions from the volunteers, it's going to be a long hot day. And there is so much work to do before we open and after we close., they have given their time freely for you.

To make things easier, and speed up things, please bring your trolley back to the gate, and someone walking in can grab and bring in, or if you are parking and see trolley just left somewhere please bring it in.
