Last Friday we helped get the Sun Run 2026 runners get run-ready at Harbord Diggers during their bib collection 🏃‍♂️✨

With Mounties Care Health Clinic Freshwater located onsite, our nurse was happy to get involved - providing complimentary wellness checks for runners, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and oxygen saturation.

We’re delighted to welcome Dr Penelope Willcocks to the Mounties Care Health Clinic Freshwater team 🩺

Dr Willcocks is a Specialist General Practitioner (MBBS, FRACGP, DCH) with broad experience across urban, rural and remote communities throughout Australia. As a mother of four, she brings a compassionate, family-centred approach to care, with a strong focus on children’s health, adolescent medicine and women’s health.

She has a special interest in menopause and perimenopause management, supporting women through hormonal changes with understanding, confidence and personalised care. Dr Willcocks is passionate about partnering with families to support young people through their physical, emotional and developmental milestones, promoting long-term health and wellbeing.

A proud Northern Beaches local, she loves spending time outdoors with family and friends and caring for the community she calls home 🌿🌊

✨ Meet Our New Doctor at Mounties Care Health Clinic – Freshwater! ✨

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr Katherine Leonard to the Mounties Care Health Clinic Freshwater team 🩺

Dr Leonard is a Specialist General Practitioner (FRACGP) with a strong background in ENT and General Surgery, bringing extensive expertise in procedural GP care, minor surgery, ENT, paediatrics and acute care medicine. She also offers services including IUD and Implanon insertion/removal, iron infusions, skin procedures, and ear micro-suction.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr Leonard is deeply involved in medical education and research, holding appointments as an Honorary Associate Lecturer and having published and presented her work internationally.

A Northern Beaches local, Dr Leonard loves ultra-marathon running, ocean swimming and dragon boat racing—so she truly understands the community she cares for 🌊🏃‍♀️
