Even when we’re all doing the same steps, using the same colours and tools — the artwork is always open to interpretation. Want to add one of the colours to a different part of the process? Sure. Want to splatter some paint across the whole thing? Do it. Stressed you’re going to “wreck it”? Probably. But here, the experience of honouring what you want to do in the process, over perfection is how we do things. Remove the angst and the worry, enjoy what you’re doing and know there’s always a new way to move around things. It’s art!
