Today is World Down Syndrome Day. This years WDSD theme is "With Us Not For Us". This theme is a human rights-based approach which "views people with disabilities as having the right to be treated fairly and have the same opportunities as everyone else, working With others to improve their lives."

Speech pathologists are the communication professionals who work with the 1.2 million Australians with communication disability. They work to ensure that communication is everyone’s right.

During Speech Pathology Week 2021 we aim to raise awareness of the tremendous work that speech pathologists do.
