The intention is that we all benefit from the depth of Buddhist psychology; it’s philosop

🗣️ And Then the Buddha Said: A Dialectical Approach to Early Buddhism
📅 Online Program | July 9–30, 2025
with Bhikkhu Sujato
💛 Offered by donation

What happens when we stop asking what the Buddha taught—and begin to explore how he taught?

In this four-week online program, Bhikkhu Sujato brings the Buddha’s dialogues to life, showing how the Buddha engaged with the concerns of his time—and how we can carry that wisdom into ours. Through close sutta readings and rich discussion, we’ll uncover the Buddha’s sharp intellect, compassion, and skill as a teacher.

Each week includes a new set of suttas (different from last year’s!) and a live session. No prior study required.

🧘‍♂️ Offered in the spirit of dana.

Discover how Zen and psychotherapy can work together to support deep personal transformation.

Join us for a powerful evening with Dr. Andrew Sono Tootell, Zen teacher in the Ordinary Mind Zen School and founder of the OzZEN Sangha. This online event explores the integration of Zen practice and relational psychotherapy, drawing from Dr. Tootell’s personal experience and reflections on Memoirs of an American Zen Pioneer by Lou Nordstrom.

The presentation considers how profound spiritual experiences alone may not resolve deep relational trauma, and how the Soto Zen practice of ‘just sitting’—when supported within a therapeutic relationship grounded in empathic recognition—can offer meaningful transformation for both client and therapist.
